There are various reasons that people move into senior living communities. Quite often, it’s the daughters or sons (mostly daughters) who think it’s time. But there are other priorities as well.
We have great entertainment at our happy hours. It took me many months to figure out why there weren’t many residents who show up. But sometime in that hour, I turn around — and the room is filled!!
Where we live, there are lots of walkers and wheelchairs. And sometimes the restaurant can look like a parking lot!
What would we do without the help of our kids (and especially our grandkids) to help us with all this crazy technology? And do you suppose they are getting annoyed with us?
We both tested positive for Covid but fortunately had minor symptoms. The real challenge was the 8 days in quarantine — just the two of us.
